Biography

Sarah Healy is a bright, diligent and highly personable Solicitor who works within the Family Departments at Lamb Brooks.

After joining Lamb Brooks in October 2020 as a Family Paralegal, Sarah promptly secured a training contract with the firm and qualified in January 2023. Sarah has spent time working in both the Family, Litigation, Private Client, and Clinical Negligence Departments at Lamb Brooks.

Sarah has a unique background which has given her a brilliant skill set and valuable experience of working with people who are in a crisis and desperate to find a way forward. Before joining Lamb Brooks, she worked for the Police supporting victims of domestic abuse attending court to give evidence in criminal trials and helping them to obtain injunctions and orders. Sarah’s experience has placed her well to help and support clients going through challenging periods of their life, in a professional yet sympathetic way.

Sarah advises clients on all areas of divorce and the resolution of matrimonial finances, property and children matters. She focusses on their goals and advises clients on the best course of action and to help them navigate problems in a pragmatic manner.

Sarah enjoys working with people, problem solving and helping to find a peaceful resolution to their disputes or family matters. She is a great listener and builds good relationships with her clients.



Work Highlights

  • Successfully assisting in defend allegations of abuse during the course of a three day Fact-Finding hearing in child arrangement proceedings allowing the parent to have continuing contact with their children.
  • Assisting in securing the immediate return of a child after one parent has unlawfully retained them following contact.
  • Successfully obtaining an emergency non-molestation order and occupation order for a vulnerable wife.

Outside of Work

Outside of work Sarah enjoys going on long walks, ideally ending up at a local pub. Sarah has an interest in true crime, having studied for her degree in Forensic Science and she enjoys watching the latest true crime documentaries.

Sarah is a keen volunteer and enjoys giving back to both the community and helping animals. Sarah has recently been volunteering at a local dog rescue centre where she assists in their care, walks and with adoptions.
