Biography
Laura Southwell joined the firm in August 2024 as a Paralegal and is now in her second seat of her training contract in the Dispute Resolution Team.
Laura’s first seat was in the Family department, where she assisted the team with drafting and amending legal documents, joining the fee earners in their client meetings and undertaking legal research.
Laura graduated from the University of Southampton with 2:1 in Archaeology and Modern History in 2022. She subsequently completed a Master's in SQE1 at the University of Law in 2025. This is her first legal role, and she aspires to complete the SQE2 and qualify as a solicitor.

Laura enjoys open-water swimming (when it's warm) and running. Aside from exercising, she enjoys trying out new baking recipes for friends and her family.
