Laura Southwell

Biography

Laura is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team at Lamb Brooks. She has experience in assisting with commercial disputes, debt recovery as well as property disputes and contentious probate disputes.  Laura is extremely organised and supportive of her clients but can be determined and firm when it comes to resolve matters on their behalf.

Laura graduated from the University of Southampton with 2:1 in Archaeology and Modern History in 2022. She subsequently completed a Master's in SQE1 at the University of Law in 2025, passing SQE1 in September 2025 and SQE2 in May 2026.

Laura joined Lamb Brooks in August 2024 as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team before starting her training contract with the firm in 2025. During her training, Laura undertook time in both the Family team and the Dispute Resolution Team before qualifying as a Solicitor in August 2026.

Outside of Work

Laura enjoys open-water swimming (when it's warm) and running. Aside from exercising, she enjoys trying out new baking recipes for friends and her family.
