Biography
Donna Barclay is a Legal Secretary in the Dispute Resolution Team and also acts as Victoria Pettit-Mills's secretary in the Clinical Negligence Team. Donna has been a valuable asset to the Lamb Brooks team for over 25 years.
Donna is the first port of call when contacting the department, who have extensive knowledge of commercial claims, property disputes, debt collection and many other litigation issues.
Her day-to-day role includes answering the telephone and directing calls to the relevant fee earner. Taking new enquiries, whether by telephone or via the website and arranging an initial fixed fee meeting. Typing, copying and scanning documents. Opening new client files and dealing with compliance and ID requirements. Diary, task management and archiving files.
She is well organised and conscientious - liking things to be tidy and in their rightful place!

Outside of Work
When Donna left school, she qualified as a hairdresser but then decided she wanted to work in an office. She started her career as a receptionist and later progressed to a legal secretary with another firm in Basingstoke.
Outside of work Donna enjoys getting away on holiday, with Cuba, Greece, Spain, Turkey and The Maldives being some of her favourites. She also loves dogs and house sits for her brother and sister-in-law when they go on holiday so she can look after their dog, Stan. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
