Charlie-Anne Smith

Charlie-Anne is in the final seat of her Training Contract and is due to qualify in August 2024. Charlie is currently undertaking work in the Employment and Company Commercial Departments by assisting with contentious and non-contentious matters.

In Charlie-Anne’s first year as a Trainee she had experience in our Property and Litigation Departments, which has exposed her to a wide variety of legal work. This included Transfers of Equity, Sales and Purchases of Residential Property; as well as gaining experience conducting pre-action research, attending court hearings with Clients and assisting in recovering costs in the Litigation Department.

Charlie-Anne completed her Law Degree at the University of York in 2020, and gained a Distinction in her LPC LLM (Legal Practice Course with combined Masters in Law) in 2022.

Outside of work, she likes spending time with family and friends or doing some form of exercise, usually running or swimming. She is also partial to a game of badminton.
