Of course, nowadays lots of people use internet solicitors for something as ‘simple’ as conveyancing, but most of them are rubbish. If you want it done properly, you need a real solicitor and the best one in Basingstoke is Lamb Brooks because they have Sheena Aston heading up their property law practice. I have used her services many times over the years and it is not only a pleasure to do business with someone so sharp and precise but it is also gratifying to see other practitioners wilting in the heat.

A first rate and very professional firm of solicitors, who handled the sale of my flat for me. Everything was done to a very good standard, and they were very easy to talk to. One minor suggestion would be to explain some of the legal terms in a bit more detail to 'lay' people. Otherwise, faultless, very professional and very helpful. Totally recommended.

Very difficult to know who to trust in this space. Lamb Brooks were recommended to me by a friend. My first interaction with Andrew inspired confidence, his investment in me and commitment throughout the 4 year process was unquestionable. It is evident that they possess a vast amount of knowledge and experience and are able to communicate consistently in a personable fashion. I always knew I was being well represented (which definitely alleviates a lot of the potential anxiety that can be had during this time) and I have no doubt that Andrew and his team got the best result for me. I have used Lamb Brooks on two occasions for the conveyancing on the purchase and sale of property. Both transactions went through fairly hassle free, albeit did take longer than I would have liked. The actual legal work was of a good standard. The fees are reasonable. My only criticisms would be that regular feedback on progress is somewhat lacking unless actively chased, and there doesn’t seem to be an urgency to move as quickly as possible to completion. I would strongly consider using a cheaper online conveyancing firm in future, as the personal touch and speed of progression is the only reason I chose to use a high street solicitors office.
