Melanie is proud to have grown up in Basingstoke and has seen its commercial and social economy expand over the years. She has acquired a great working knowledge of the residential and commercial property landscape which assists her when advising clients.
Melanie works as part of the Wealth Protection team at Lamb Brooks to provide sound and strategic advice to individuals so that their property assets are best protected. She deals with high net worth clients achieving their property outcomes smoothly in a sale or purchase by providing a bespoke service.
She has specialist experience in dealing with property transfers which are pursuant to a divorce or separation, understanding the technical nuisances alongside giving peace of mind.
Melanie enjoys advising clients on technical aspects of their residential and commercial leases, ensuing that they fully comprehend their options, commitments and responsibilities.
She also deals with Residential Leasehold Property Management – a technical area of the law which has ever increasing relevance to day to day issues affecting owners of flats, whether they are the landlord or the tenant.
Melanie is a Director on the board of the Business Improvement District (BID) for Basingstoke.
Outside of work Melanie’sfamily is her focus enjoying camping and mountain biking with them. She is keen road cyclist having started in November 2018 and completed the Big Wheel 40 miles in June 2019 in 3 hours. Keeping fit at Beechdown with yoga and swimming is a priority in her busy lifestyle. She also started 3 years ago to learn the piano alongside her children as a new skill and attends lessons every week. Her goal is to play “Your song” by Elton John for her husband eventually!
