Debbie has a particular interest in issues surrounding mental capacity and assisting vulnerable clients.

Debbie regularly advises families on Court of Protection applications including those where there are family disputes, the payment of care and NHS Continuing Health Care.


Debbie obtained a distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients, which is a comprehensive qualification of the legal, welfare, financial and practical issues surrounding the care and advice provided to vulnerable and elderly clients and their families.


Debbie often speaks at support groups for people living with dementia and their carers.


Debbie considers herself to be approachable and understanding, whilst offering practical and tailored solutions to individual situations. Debbie is happy to visit clients in their own home or at a care home or hospital.


Debbie is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body of the most experienced and senior practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues. Debbie is also a full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, an independent national organisation of lawyers with a wealth of experience working for older and vulnerable clients.
