At Lamb Brooks we are able to consider various different forms of funding to assist you in making your claim. This can include exploring existing insurance which you may already have in place, undertaking various aspects of work for a fixed fee, or via a standard hourly rate retainer. We can also discuss whether you might be able to secure the involvement from a third party litigation funder for particularly high value claims.
Alternatively, if a claim enjoys reasonable prospects of success, and has sufficient value, then we might be able to consider a ‘no win, no fee’ agreement which means that you would not be responsible to pay any of our charges upfront or in the event your claim is lost.
Any claim for professional negligence which falls below £10,000 would likely be deemed by the court to be a small claim and, in those circumstances, your legal costs (save for very modest amounts) are not recoverable even if you are successful. Because of this, we would only be able to consider acting in relation to a small claim on a privately paying basis.
For further information or to see if you have a valid claim for professional negligence then please call 01256 844888 or email firstname.lastname@example.org today.
